Description:

This position will begin April 1, 2025 to join the HSS Dean's Office. Duties include: Assist in the design, distribution and marketing for HSS events and projects throughout the academic year. Coordinate with SUU Marketing and Branding to distribute HSS related media to stakeholders and university organizations. Maintain and manage all HSS Social media accounts and HSS website logistics, and create all HSS social media content. Provide outstanding customer service and professional communication in person, over the phone, and through email. Assist the HSS Leadership Team with various clerical duties including digital filing, answering phones, scanning documents, coordinating meetings, maintaining office equipment, assisting in event planning, and other special projects as needed. Assist in creating and managing outreach initiatives to alumni and prospective students through LinkedIn and other campus recruiting/outreach opportunities such as Red Riot, Homecoming, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Must be responsible, organized, punctual, proactive and reliable.
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills, as well as a professional and pleasant demeanor.
  • Must have the ability to professionally handle confidential information and complete FERPA Training as required.
  • Previous design, social media, and marketing experience preferred.
  • Must be Work-Study eligible.
